Spring Cleaning Has Never Felt So Good
Join Local Motion and Bridging on Saturday, May 8, at the Spring into Giving Event at the Maple Grove Community Center. This brand-new community event will be collecting donations for Bridging, Canned Good for Second Harvest and Money and Unopened toys for Best Christmas Ever.
Saturday, May 8
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Location: Maple Grove Community Center 12951 Weaver Lake Road, Maple Grove MN

Local Motion will be accepting the following items for Bridging at the event.
NOTE: these are selected items, in the greatest need, not the complete Bridging list.
FURNITURE:
– Bed frames (YES: metal, freestanding and folding, NO: headboards, footboards and wooden rails
– Chairs: kitchen, rocking, upholstered and folding (no powered or wheeled chairs)
– Dressers
– Kitchen/Dining Tables (no glass, stone or tile tops) – folding/card tables OK, square or round
– Mattresses and box springs: stain and rip free (no powered beds). Twin, full, queen, king size accepted – memory foam ok
– Sofas, loveseats, and ottomans (no sleeper or powered sofas)
– Tables: Nightstand, end and coffee (no all glass tops)
– Wood furniture: large/bookcases, 72″(h) x 36″(w) or smaller
Event Activities
- Join event emcee Jason Hudoba, of GRA and the voice of the MN Lynx, and Shawn Parker of REMAX Results and the Voice of the MN Timberwolves will be the DJ.
- The MIDBROS Band will be playing live music from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
- Caleb Truax, local boxing champ, will be there at 2:00 for pictures and autographs.
- Food trucks one in Particular is Gess Whats Cooking the 2018 MN Best Food truck!
- Every half hour we will be doing a drawing and giveaway for mothers day. All you have to do is register and donate to one of our charities.
- There will be games for kids throughout the three hours, skateboard park, Jungle Gym, Cake Walk, Arts and Crafts (create a Mothers Day Gift!)
