Andersen Corporation: Featured Partner

Andersen Corporation, including the full-service window replacement division, Renewal by Andersen, has a long commitment of community service. Andersen employees have participated in numerous projects in the Twin Cities, including participating in multiple projects and events at Bridging.

“At Andersen Corporation, our commitment to housing has always been deeply ingrained within our values. We proudly support organizations that share our unwavering belief in the critical importance of housing,” says Traci Norum, Sr. Community Relations Specialist.

Traci has partnered with Bridging since 2015 when she first entered the community relations world with another company. “Valuing her partnership with Bridging, both personally and professionally,” she kept her connections with Bridging alive when she moved to Andersen Corporation.

She says, “Bridging is an incredible partner when it comes to corporate volunteerism. Their team is efficient, friendly, and provides a wonderful experience for all volunteers!”

Bridging is grateful for Traci’s partnership and leadership in coordinating volunteer events and essentials drives over the years.

In 2023, Traci led initiatives that resulted in Andersen sponsoring and assembling 800 Kitchen Packs, which is enough for 800 clients, fulfilling two months of need!

In 2024, Andersen has participated in several volunteer events onsite at Bridging that engaged nearly 70 people who donated almost 200 service hours. Andersen has also sponsored 40 dressers, which provide clients with a brand new white, five drawer Ashley furniture dresser from which to choose!

In addition to providing the people power and the donations, Traci recognizes the importance of colleagues to serve together outside of their regular working environment.

Traci understands the importance of social responsibility, giving back and the impact that volunteering can have on teams: ““Volunteering together in a corporate setting creates a space of vulnerability where employees often find connections with each other they wouldn’t in their day-to-day professional lives. This shared experience not only strengthens team bonds but also fosters a sense of community and belonging. Seeing the immediate impact of our work on the organization and the community is incredibly rewarding and inspiring.”
