What a Difference a Bed Makes!

In order to provide beds and linens to over 14,000 people every year, Bridging needs your help to stock the shelves. Heartwarming stories and joyful tears from the families we serve are common at Bridging, here is what one client family wrote after receiving a basic home set up and can now get a good nights’ sleep:
We are so grateful for the furniture you provided to us. It is very humbling and humiliating to have to ask for help with furniture, but your organization made the whole process very fulfilling. Wow, what a great feeling to sleep in a Bed! Woohoo!
What types of beds will Bridging accept?
Mattresses and Box Springs: set or single pieces
- YES: twin, full, queen, king size accepted; foam ok
- NO: cribs, electrical beds, bunk beds, trundle beds, captain’s beds, sleeper sofas, or rollaways
Bed frames
- YES: metal, freestanding and folding
- NO: headboards, footboards and wooden rails
Purchasing a new bed at a local retailer? Be sure to ask your sales representative if they donate your gently used beds to Bridging!
Getting a new bed from an online retailer? We will provide a receipt for your donation!
