Requesting a Furniture Pick Up

Attention Donors:  As of August 4, 2008, Bridging has made significant adjustments to the qualified Zip Code listing for Residential pick ups due to rising costs to run the program.  We will continue the service to donors, but at a reduction in service area.  Donors are welcome to drop off furniture and household goods during all hours of operation. Thank you for your support.

How to request a Bridging donation pick up at your residence:

1. The pick up must be for one of the current zip codes listed.
2. All items must be accessible in the garage or driveway on the day of pick up.
3. A donor must have two or more of the items listed below to qualify.
4. Typical wait time for a pick up is 3-4 weeks.

• Armoires
• Bookcase
• Bunk Beds, Trundle, and Captain’s Bed (no cribs) 
• Cabinet – Corner, Kitchen
• Desk (Max: 48" x 30") 
• Dresser (i.e. chest of drawers)
• Entertainment Center
• Mattress and Box Springs (Twin, Full/Double, Queen)
• Sofa and Loveseat (3 or 4 Cushions or Sectional, no sleeper sofas - drop off only)
• Table and Chairs: Dining and Kitchen, no glass top tables
• Upholstered Chair

Please note, we run our residential pick up program by zip code not by city. This means some cities have limited pick up in their area.
