LARGE QUANTITY IN-KIND DONATIONS

Have lots of stuff? Your donations are vital to our ability to serve 4,000 households a year in the Twin Cities. To provide a basic home set up to each family, we need over 500 semi-loads of inventory donated every year.

 

WHO DOES THIS APPLY TO?

  • Hotels (guest room items, lobby furniture and banquet halls)
  • Retailers and Manufacturers (includes new and discontinued items)
  • Restaurants (i.e. tables, chairs, dishes, glassware, silverware)
  • Corporate (i.e. lunchroom, cafeteria and lobby furniture, product)
  • Faith-based Organizations (i.e. banquet halls and rummage sale leftovers)

WHAT DOES BRIDGING ACCEPT?

  1. Determine what items will be accepted and how to get them to Bridging. Call Steve Jameson, Operations and Logistics Manger at 952.888.6462 or complete the Contact Us Form and include:
    • Main contact name and email/phone
    • Location of items (Address)
    • Description of items
    • Do you wish to have a pick up? Do you have dock door?
  2. Decide between option 1 or option 2 below.

OPTION 1: DROP-OFF AT BRIDGING

  • No cost, no appointment, and no online booking required.
  • Donations accepted: Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bridging is closed on Sundays and all major holidays.
  • Bridging accepts donations at either our Bloomington or Roseville warehouse.
  • Your donation is tax-deductible.

OPTION 2: ARRANGE FOR BRIDGING TO PICK UP

Need help getting your items to Bridging? Contact Steve Jameson, Operations and Logistics Manger, at 952.888.6462. Schedule a ONE-TIME PICKUP of reusable items or arrange for a RECURRING pickup.

  • Corporate/institutional pickups are free.
  • Corporate/institutional pickups are Mondays – Thursdays between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • All acceptable items need to be sorted ready to load.
  • Your donation is tax-deductible.

WILL BRIDGING TURN DOWN DONATIONS?

It is important to Bridging that we provide quality, essential furniture and household good items. Therefore, we are unable to accept items that are not on our accepted donations list and/or are stained, ripped, torn, and/or include pet hair. Team members have the right to refuse items that don’t meet our quality standard.
